Book Cover Design

During my sophomore year (Fall 2025), I collaborated with an independent author to design a conceptual cover for their fantasy novel. The target audience was readers of the fantasy genre, particularly young adults drawn to visually immersive storytelling. The objective of this project was to create a compelling cover that would capture the tone of the story and attract potential readers.

This was an individual project completed over two weeks, where I was responsible for the full design process, including concept development and visual execution. I used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create the final cover, applying skills in visual storytelling, typography, and composition.

Through this experience, I learned how to translate an author’s vision into a marketable design and the importance of aligning visuals with genre expectations and audience appeal.
