During a Typography class in college (Spring of 2024), I created Lorekeeper Magazine, a publication centered on the fantasy fiction book genre. The target audience was readers interested in fantasy literature, particularly young adults. The objective was to design a visually cohesive magazine that reflected the genre and engaged readers through thoughtful typography, layout, and imagery.
This individual project involved concept development, magazine layout, font selection, and image curation, using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator. I applied skills in typography, composition, visual storytelling, and design strategy.
Through this experience, I learned how to make intentional design choices that support both aesthetic appeal and audience engagement, while refining my skills in creating a cohesive publication from concept to final product.
